The casting bridge crane is a specialized bridge lifting equipment designed for high-temperature, heavy-load, and frequent operation scenarios in the metallurgical industry. It features flexible structural configurations:

Structural classification: Models below 125t typically adopt the YZ-type double-girder single-trolley structure, while models above 125t commonly use the YZS-type four-girder double-trolley (main/auxiliary trolley) structure.

Core components: Composed of the bridge frame (box girder reinforced structure with a bottom heat-insulation layer to prevent high-temperature deformation; welds require ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle inspection (MT)), main/auxiliary trolleys (the main trolley transports molten steel ladles, while the auxiliary trolley can traverse under the main trolley for auxiliary tilting of steel ladles/slag or collaborative operations), lifting hooks, large trolley traveling mechanisms (often using quadrant drive, with 45° split forged wheels for superior load-bearing and maintenance), and electrical control systems.

Specialized design: Key components (main girders, trolley frames) are equipped with "rock wool board + high-temperature-resistant steel plate" insulation layers. The operator cabin and electrical room feature full thermal insulation and cooling equipment (e.g., industrial air conditioning). Transmission components use high-temperature-resistant lubricants (resistant to ≥200°C), and motors employ YZR/YZP series metallurgical cranes (class H insulation, IP54 protection). The hoisting mechanism incorporates redundant drives (e.g., dual-drive main hoisting for emergency operation at rated capacity if one set fails), with dual brakes on high-speed shafts and safety disc brakes on drums. It can also integrate specialized electronic scales, PLC control, and fault detection systems.
